This product was born out of frustration. Here’s the backstory of how it came about.

My name is Lamoye and I’m the inventor of boomhead TWZR.

One summer afternoon in 2023, I went to the hair salon to get my lace wig installed and was displeased with the result because the wig hairline was too thick and dense. What was even more frustrating, is the fact that I had personally hand delivered the hair unit to the hairstylist three days in advance of my appointment - in compliance with the stylist policy - for hairline customization. (Keep in mind that this was a brand new pre-plucked wig that needed further plucking for more naturalization)

Long story short: none of that happened! The hairstylist didn’t bother to pluck the wig hairline to lessen the density so that the unit would blend-in with my natural hairline.

Now, here I am at Ribfest looking like a hot mess in a blonde lace front wig, hairline thick and cakey. Ugh!

Double frustrated, I began searching out methods online to customize lace-front hairline. And even though I learned a lot from this discovery, I found the process lengthy and tedious. The DIY videos taught me a lot, and this is where I learned how to pluck and customize my very own lace frontal.

Yes, I was happy with the results – but I was equally happy and eager to improve the process.

To make it more efficient.
To make it less time consuming.
A masterpiece was born...
